New Year’s Day Swim

This is my second one !    In Sheringham, and this year, there were so many of us.

Very , very cold but worth it……raising funds for the RNLI.   My feet were very cold afterwards but I felt invigorated !

New Year’s Day Swim

Happy New Year !          Today, I have taken part in my first ever New Year’s Day Swim. This took place in Sheringham and was organised to raise funds for the RNLI.    It was cold, but afterwards, I felt invigorated.   2017 is going to be a year of possibilities.

Saturday 2nd May, the small market town of Fakenham became very active.  The Showcase Day and shopkeepers Olympics were full on. Step into Spring

Step into the sunlight and let go of the dark winter months. Make an effort of drinking more water and include more vegetables in your diet. With lighter mornings and evenings , it is now a good time to enjoy being outdoors again.

I was recently invited to a Pamper Evening. This took place at Blenheim Primary School in Sculthorpe, to raise funds. Lovely venue. A brilliant way of promoting Reflexology.

Autumn boost for the immune system

As the autumn starts, do not be tempted to eat too much comforting food (ie : pasta, rich potato gratin, puddings…) and make sure that you include lots of vegetables. The pumpkin is in season and it is loaded with beta-carotene, an antioxidant. So swap the processed foods for wholesome goodness.
